We found Duckie!!
Dad came home from work and said: "Hey, why don't you look behind the movies for Duckie...
And then I did and BINGO! Duckie!
He was hiding somewhere behind the Godfather and Columbo. Which reminds me, I never know if Dad is going to interrupt himself and comment on my fur or start talking like he has cotton balls in his mouth and "Make me an offer I can't refuse...". I don't understand.
Anywho, there was Duckie. But wait. I looked there before, and Duckie was NOT there. AND now, Duckie has no smell. What the heck? Duckie? it is you, right? Where are all my familiar smells? Where have you been?
Well anyway, I love having my Duckie back and Dad is glad too.

Hi, Rocky.
Glad you found Duckie! Sure you missed him a lot.
Maybe he went to a spa and got a special bath and now smells different!
Kisses and hugs
Lorenza
Oh, I'm so glad you got Duckie back. I bet you feel much better now.
Kat
It's so good that you found duckie! We think your dad snuck him off to the big ol washin machine and that's why he doesn't smell right any more. Parents are sneaky that way. What they have against good ol' doggy smells, we have no idea. Shiloh gets back by eating shoes - and boy do they smell!
I have that duckie!! It used to quack, but I broke it's neck. Penny & I love to play tug with duckie!
lola
Rocky, your recent comment on our blog had us laughin so hard! Yea, parents are awfully silly about their projects. But, look at it this way. When they are busy with their projects, they aren't makin us wrrk. We can play, wrestle, nap to our hearts content. Then when they need a break, they can relax and adore us properly. Mom's prjects keep her from shoppin & going crazy and keep her home with us more, so we tolerate them.
Lorenza: I sure did miss him! hmmm, a Duckie Spa! Now wouldn't that be something! Thanks Lorenza!
Steve, Kat, & Wilbur: I dooooo! I love Duckie. I pick him up and carry him around the house... making him go Squaaak Squaaak.
Guinness & Shiloh: It is soo good I found him. I think Dad snuck him off somewhere too. Perhaps to the Spa Lorenza spoke of. I am kinda curious if a Duck takes a bath, I mean really now - they are in water all the time (except my duckie).
From personal experience, I can offer you this, Shiloh is not eating shoes for no reason, I'm sure they were bad shoes. My Dad has a Bad refrigerator.
Ferndoggle: You have Duckie too?!!! Wait a minute, can you find yours right now? Oh right, yours lost it's voice... ok, not the same duckie.
Guinness & Shiloh: One more comment, Dad came home the other day all excited repeating what he read on the "Do you Love me" post. He said he read it to everyone at work (that came by)... the part about you calling mom such a grrrl (using a dramatic doggy accent of course). He had everyone going at work!
And do you believe it.... They blocked all BLOGs at work!! Now Dad can't post during the day. He even can't read BLOGs at work!! He had to be sneaky and use a reader at work - to make it look like email.... hehehe, well, at least he can read them.
Hi Rockuy and Mati!
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. We will be stopping in often on you guys!
You are so lucky to have found
duckie!!! Isn't that so strange how it works, when you have searched and then, like magic one day they reappear smelling..well the no smell smell!
XOXOXOXO,
Frankie Grrl & Maddie the Chocolate Labbie
Sorry I typoed your name up ther Rocky.....I guess my paw slipped.....
Frankie Grrl
hmm I think something fishy is going on with ducky???
Hey Rocky, That's a Canadian duckie! or maybe a Canadian goosey, actually. It doesn't really matter if it squeaks, or quacks, or whatever. Just as long as it's stuffie and chewy.
I'm bored with toys. But Prince who was a proper GSD was never bored with them. And they were all HIS.
Pippa
Frankie and Maddie: Thanks for stopping by! Duckie is kinda funny that way, here one day, gone the next. And don't worry about the typio, I understand, my paws have trouble all the time!
Joe Stains: No pun intended! Right? I think something was definitely going on with Duckie.
Sophie Brador: Hey there and thanks for stopping by! Yes, I love my toys and I keep them for a long time too (if Dad lets me). I like them squeaking, squawking, and everything! Once I had a friend over, Sheba (Sheba-Deeba as Dad says) and Sheba had a small toy of mine and it was shredded in seconds. It was pretty impressive I have to admit.
Pippa: Hey there Pippa! Yes, although they are all mine, I share with anyone that would like to play. I love to play (in a slow, GSD way). Got anymore stamps in your passport??
See you all Soon. Dad's going away for a day or two and a couple of other quadruped friends and their people are coming to stay with us. It's like a mini vacation, well, without a computer... Bummer.
Hello Rocky! I'm very pleased to meet you! I saw you over at Lorenza's place & thought I'd say hello...I'm so glad you found your duckie..they can be tricky little critters sometimes...
Love & Licks,
Randi
Duckie's back! Duckie's back!!!
I thought I saw Duckie in our garage, but it was Mr. Duckie. I'll have to post a picture of him later on.
Luv,
Dave
Oh yay you found Duckie!! We were wondering if you would. No smells you say? The same things happens to all our stuffies everynow and again. And holes seem to disappear too. Some strange conspiracy?
Anyway glad you have your pal back.
Licks
Jazz and Dixie
Randi: thanks for stopping by! We will stop and check out your DogLog or DLOG! And yes, those Duckies can be real trixsy! Thanks a bunch! Love Rocky
Dave: Thanks Dave, that would be fun to see Mr. Duckie! Btw, we think of the AO4 and YOU everytime Dad stops at Wendy's to get a Frosty (no, not Frosty Paws, Darnit!) Thanks again, Love Rocky!
